COAST GUARD "SUB BUSTERS" RESCUE SURVIVORS - One of the sturdy little 83 foot Coast Guard cutters, formerly dubbed "sub busters" for their work in the North Atlantic, pulls alongside a Coast Guard assault transport off the coast of France to transfer surviviors for medical attention. This sub buster, named "Miss Fury" by her crew, and her sister ships have rescued many hundreds during the European invasion, receiving the plaudits of the war correspondents.
