Men on the Boat

EVEN BICYCLES USED IN INVASION - Coast Guardsmen, aboard an assault transport at some debarkation point in England, hoist a load of bicycles up over the side for use in the invasion of France. The bikes went along with jeeps, trucks, bulldozers and tanks to be used in the tremendous transportation task involved in securing the Norman beachhead.
