Royalty Free Picture of D-Day, Invasion of Nomandy France

RHINOS JOIN YANKEE INVASION MENEGERIE - Riding low with its jam-packed load of fighting men and heavy military vehicles, a Rhino is shown wallowing through English Channel waters in this D-Day photograph made from a Coast Guard assault transport pushing toward the French Coast. First, it was the alligaor; next the Buffalo, and now the massive Rhino takes its place in the Allied amphibious invasion menagerie.
