FLASH GORDON WARFARE: Amphibian tractors that can swim in the sea as well as travel over land, are shown here coming out of a landing boat during practice maneuvers in the Sol. One of the tractors is temporarily "stuck." The tractor is emerging form one of the Navy's new LST's, which open at the forward end to disgorge their cargo. LST's are performing valuable service in Sol. waters. Sealock Channel, between Guadalcanal & Tulagi - August 22, 1943
