FAMED SURIBACHI MEANS SAFE RETURN to this night-raiding Mitchell of the 4th Marine Air Wing shown landing after an anti-shipping search strike to Tokyo harbor. Planes of the veteran unit, specialists in low-level rocket attacks, are currently terrorizing Jap shipping between still-potent Chichi Jima in the nearby Bonins and the harbors of Tokyo, Kobe, and Nagoya.
