Hardly the most comfortable place to rest, but welcome to a Private in this pile of shells. The fact that the Japs could land artillery mortar shells almost anywhere on the island of Iwo Jima does not seem to disturb the peace of mind of this Marine in the least. Iwo Jima 1945
