Crewman of the night fighter squadron of the 4th Marine Air Wing busy themselves with gassing up one of their squadron's Corsairs following completion of a night patrol over enemy-held Marianas Islands. Using truck headlamps for light, they work without benefit of facilities to which they were accustomed at bases in the Marshalls and Gilberts where they served previously. July 28, 1944 - Saipan
