This site from University of Virginia allows
you to create you own map of Rome. It will allow you to have the street plan or the topography as the base map and you may
choose a number of other items. Some examples are marshy areas, bridges, aqueducts,
fountains, and much, much, more. This is a great
place to look at the development of a city!! Be careful not to request too many
items per map, especially if you have a slower Internet connection.
