The Waters of Rome WOW!!  Click on the Typology link on the left side of this page.  Then select your items in the top right frame.  This site from University of Virginia allows you to create you own map of Rome.  It will allow you to have the street plan or the topography as the base map and you may choose  a number of other items.  Some examples are marshy areas, bridges, aqueducts, fountains,  and much, much, more.  This is a great place to look at the development of a city!!  Be careful not to request too many items per map, especially if you have a slower Internet connection.
